On a way to Langtang trek, you will be volunteering in Briddim Health Post for six days. Rural Health post lack personnel and are perpetually short of essential drugs and supplies. Extreme poverty and lack of health education both discourage people from seeking health care in addition to the country's rugged terrain also limits access to health facilities. Here you will focus on Family planning, WASH Program (Water and Sanitation), Child nutrition, safe motherhood and basic medication practices in rural areas.

Asian Heritage Treks support NGO AHF Nepal for supporting Necha Community Hospital, all the Volunteer programs and worked closely with them for rural transformation that directly benefits the underprivileged people. We support them in a number of ways.




Asian Heritage Treks donates up to 10% of its annual profit to AHF Nepal’s projects as CSR. These donations are being used for Necha Community Hospital, education, Livelihood support program through microcredit and Necha Community Hospital.




We are committed to a holistic and humanistic vision of quality education in rural Nepal. Through our Girls Education Scholarship Program 300 primary girls are currently benefiting from this project, which is conducted with full collaboration with Asian Heritage Treks and its friends coordinated by AHF Nepal.



Partnership (Volunteering Program)

The Volunteering Program, organized by Asian Heritage Treks and AHF Nepal, aims to mobilize teams of interested kind-hearted experts and interested individuals or team of Volunteer as an effective and economic measure in supporting the underprivileged people for education, health, and community development in the villages of lower region Solukhumbhu district of eastern Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - 1,300m/4,264 ft.

Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport, our representative will meet greet and welcome you and transfer you to your confirmed hotel. You can rest relax and enjoy your time in the hotel or you can stroll around the city.Overnight Hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

After Breakfast, the guided full day sightseeing starts around Kathmandu. Here you can feast your eyes on the rich and colorful history of the country. The tour includes Kathmandu Durbar Square- houses the old royal palace of the Kathmandu kingdom, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple- swarming with monkeys), Pashupatinath- one of the most significant Hindu temple of Lord Shiva in the world, Boudha Stupa- one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. You will be able to observe the country in its original status. From the top of the SwayambhuNath Temple to the fluttering of colorful prayer flags at Boudha Stupa, you will be able to feel the way of life of the people living in Kathmandu Valley.Overnight Hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 145 km/ 7 hrs.

After having breakfast your drive starts from Kathmandu to Syabru Beshi. If the weather is clear, you can enjoy the mountain views and the rustic village lifestyles along the way. You will have your lunch at Trishuli bazaar and continue your drive to Syabrubesi.Overnight Local Lodge.

Day 04: Syabrubesi to Briddhim (2290m)/6 hours

From today your trekking starts following the Langtang river through the dense lush green forests of coniferous, oak and rhododendrons and passes more villages that have a strong Tibetan influence. Briddhim also offers a unique home stay experience. Each family provides clean bedding, a toilet and dining area. You have the chance to live with the family and eat traditional foods such as plain rice, Tibetan bread, Syakpa (stew), tea and local wine. You can take part in cultural practices and can enjoy village walks with the family. You will have ample opportunities to experience the local culture first hand and you can try out the traditional costume and participate in a traditional song and dance. Overnight accommodation will be in a local lodge/home stay.

Day 05-10: Volunteer in Health Post

In these days you will focus on Family planning, WASH Program (Water and Sanitation), Child nutrition, safe motherhood and basic medication practices in rural areas in co ordination with the health post in charge. You will also interact with FCHV (Female Health Community Volunteer) and learn about their contribution in saving lives of mother and child.

Day (6- 15) Volunteer in Hospital

In these ten days with the Volunteer plan with the staffs and management committee you will be supporting the people left behind by the mainstream development in the remote terrain of mountainous district through Necha Community hospital.You can support the hospital with daily work,caring of patients ,maintaining garden and other as required by the Necha Community Hospital Management during the day time. Overnight at Hospital bamboo made quarter. You will have your breakfast/Lunch/Dinner in Hospital canteen.

Day 11: Trek to Lama Hotel (2290m)/ 6 hrs.

From today your trekking starts through the dense green forests of coniferous, oak and rhododendrons and the villages that are inhabited by Tibetans, Tamangs and Sherpas. On the way you will also cross several suspension bridges. You will reach Lama Hotel and can rest and relax. Overnight Local Lodge.

Day 12: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 7-8 hrs via Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft): 6/7 hr

fter having breakfast in the lodge, you will start your trek. You have to climb the steep ascend through the dense forests. From the way you can see the wonderful view of Langtang Lirung. The trail passes through largest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone and prayers written on them, the water mills, chortens, sacred pile of rocks with various inscriptions carved on them etc. You must cross several bridges made by the local woods along the way. Day 13: Explore Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): and Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft) 5/6- hr.

Today you will explore in and around Kyanjin Gompa. After having breakfast, you can go for a hike to Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft) for mountain views. As Tserko Ri lies in quiet high altitude, you might feel the thin air but it is not the place where you will spend your night. After getting some wonderful view of mountains and the surrounding you will return back to Kanjin Gompa. In the remaining time, you can stroll around Kanjin Gompa enjoying the surrounding views along with various floras and faunas. Overnight Local Lodge.

Day 14: Trek back to Lama Hotel: 6/7 hrs.

After having breakfast in the lodge, you will start walking down to Lama Hotel. Today you have to walk 6 to 7 hours downhill through the dense forest to Lama Hotel. You will walk through the ethnic Tamang settlement where the People are influenced by Tibetan religious and cultural practices. Overnight Local Lodge.

Day 15: Trek back to Syabrubesi: 5 hrs.

Today is your last day of trekking. After having breakfast, you will start trekking down to Syabrubesi. The total trek is downhill and you will walk through lush green forest. Overnight Local Lodge.

Day 16: Transfer to KTM.

After having breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu and check-in to your hotel. You can rest and relax in the remaining time and you can go out of your hotel and roam around the market for shopping the token of love for your nearest and dearest ones.Overnight Hotel.

Day 17: Final Departure.

Finally, today is the last day of your Nepal program. After having breakfast, you will pack your luggage, get fresh and check out from the hotel. You will be transferred to the International airport to catch the flight for your onward destination.
