This tour takes you to Darjeeling and Sikkim. Darjeeling known for its breathtaking scenic beauty, tranquil surroundings and abundant fauna and flora attracts tourists from all over the country and abroad. The glorious sunrise touching the majestic peaks of Kanchenjunga creates a spectacular view. Steeped in Buddhist culture this amazing hill town is home to famous Buddhist monasteries and beautiful Japanese Pagoda; a symbol of profound peace.

The vast expanse of tea estates, bright begonias, and beautiful orchids line up the stretches of the curved roads. In Sikkim, you can explore the sprawling zoological park and catch the sight of snow leopard, Himalayan black bears or Tibetan wolves and the red panda. Visit The Bengal Natural History Museum which has over 4,300 specimens of Himalayan fauna and Bengal wildlife. Take an adventurous bike trip in Kalimpong and enjoy the spectacular beauty of this north-eastern region of India which will surely capture your heart.

  • Day 1

    Arrival at Silguri & onward to Darjelling Travel Duration: 3 hrs

  • On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our office representative from Siliguri will greet you at the airport and assist you to help travel to Darjeeling in private vehicle. Check-in at the hotel and have rest. In the evening, visit around the streets of Darjeeling. Overnight in hotel.

  • Day 2

    Sightseeing in Darjeeling

  • In the early morning, visit Tiger Hill to watch the stunning view of the sunrise. Afterward, you will be driven to Ghum Monastery, which is famous for its 15-feet high statue of "Maitreya Buddha" and Batasia Loop, famous for its war memorial and returns to the hotel. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then continue to our city sightseeing tour which includes Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden, Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Overnight in hotel.

  • Day 3

    Excusion to Mirik Travel Duration: 2 hrs

  • Today, you'll go on an excursion to Mirik, a tiny hamlet, which is 2 hours drive away from Darjeeling. On your journey to Mirik, you will be traveling along the Indo-Nepal Border. In Mirik, you will be visiting the Mirik Lake, Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations and Tea Estates. At Mirik Lake, you can enjoy boating or horse riding. Overnight in hotel.

  • Day 4

    Darjeeling to Gangtok Travel Duration: 4 hrs

  • After breakfast, you'll be traveling to Gangtok which is about 4 hours drive away from Darjeeling. On the way, you can view the lush green mountains and bubbling brooks at every turn. In the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel on arrival at Gangtok.Overnight in hotel.

  • Day 5

    Sightseeing in Gangtok

  • In the morning, after breakfast, you will visit Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls and return to the hotel. In the evening, go for a walk at Mahatma Gandhi road. Overnight in hotel.

  • Day 6

    Trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

  • After breakfast, you will be on your way to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist, where Tsomgo means "Source of water". According to the legends, Buddhist monks used to study the color of lake's water to predict the future. Afterward, you'll visit the Baba Mandir and retrace your way back to Gangtok. Overnight in hotel. P.S.: In the case of a landslide, Tsomgo Lake will remain closed, but a visit to the alternate place will be provided.

  • Day 7

    Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport Travel Duration: 5 hrs

  • In the morning have your breakfast and pack your bags as our office representative will come to receive you in the hotel and you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Have a safe journey onwards.
