 One of the preferred destinations for the moderate trekkers is Annapurna base camp. Tourists, who enjoy experiencing the mountains, walking on the sloppy lands and feel the pleasant climate, choose this region as their ultimate trekking destination. Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is a moderate trekking which commences from Birethati, a short drive (an hour) from Pokhara, which takes you to the foot of Mt. Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) .It, is also considered as one of the most magnificent peaks in the world. The trail takes you through the traditional villages of Nepal’s ethnic community of the Gurung, Magar, and Thakali people who will welcome you with their own tradition.

The walk continues through dense rhododendron forest with cloud touching snowy peaks in the background. While returning down, the walk is even more interesting as the trek winds around different ridges breeze towards Ghorepani, where you observe wonderful views of sunrise where a red circle of light seeps through glistening gaps over the snow capped peaks of the Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Mountains. The sceneries seen throughout this trek decorates the landscape of the Himalayas, where imagination defines the beauty of nature and as an experience that can never be forgotten.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek will be even more interesting in spring as the whole forest along the trail looks red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers. This wonder trip can be done anytime of the year according to the interest of client.

Day 1: Pokhara – Nayapul – Ulleri (1,5 hours by car, 6 hours walk)

We start in the early morning in Pokhara and take a private vechicle to Nayapul. It takes around 1 hour to reach Nayapul. From Nayapul we walk around 6 hours with a short lunch break and reach our destination in Ulleri (1940 m) in the late afternoon. On the way to Ulleri we are passing typical Nepali villages and beautiful terraced rice fields. The last part of the walk is quite interesting as we have to climb up  to approx. 2500 stone stairs! Overnight at lodge

Day 2: Ulleri – Ghorepani (5 hours walk)

After breakfast we head up for Ghorepani. Today's trail is slightly easier than the day before. We pass through amazing rhododendron forest, pine forest and cross little bridges. After lunch in Nangethati we continue our walk towards Ghorepani (2750 m) and reach the beautiful, blue village in the late afternoon. From Ghorepani we have a great view on the magnificent Mt.Dhaulagiri (8167 m) . Overnight in a lodge 

Day 3: Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Tadapani (6 hours walk)

We get up very early in the morning and hike to Poon Hill (3210 m) to see beautiful sunrise with the view on Mt.Dhaulagiri, Mt.Fishtail and the complete Annapurna range. After sunrise we hike back to Ghorepani at our lodge and have breakfast there. After breakfast we continue hiking through beautiful rhododendron forests, alongside wild creeks and waterfalls. We stop at banthati at have lunch there and continue on our trail and reach Tadapani (2590 m) in the late afternoon. Overnight in a lodge.

Day 4: Tadapani – Chhomrong (4 hours walk)

After breakfast the trail leads us alongside terraced rice fields and we pass many little settlements. We descend to cross the Kimrung Khola River and then climb up to reach Chhomrong in the early afternoon. From Chhomrong we have a fantastic view on Fishtail and Annapurna South.  overnight in  lodge.

Day 5: Chhomrong – Bamboo (4 hours walk)

After breakfast we start our hike with a steep way down until we cross the Chhomrong Khola River. After the bridge we climb up to reach Sinuwa, where we have lunch. After lunch we continue our walk through the rocky steps and beautiful bamboo forests.  We reach the settlement Bamboo (2300 m) in the early afternoon. Bamboo is famous for its large Lemurs colonies. With a little luck we can see one of them in the trees around our lodge. We stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 6: Bamboo – Deurali (5 hours walk)

After breakfast we start our hike to deurali  through dovan village and Himalayan hotel crossing beautiful rhododendron and bamboo forests. After a little settelmant called Himalaya we steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali (2920 m). Overnight at lodge in Deurali.

Day 7: Deurali – Annapurna Base Camp (5 hours walk)

After breakfast, we start hiking and the trial goes alongside the beautiful Modi Khola River. On the way we have an amazing view on the holly mountain of Machapuchare (Fishtail) which changes its shape the closer we come. We reach MBC (3700 m) at lunch time. After lunch we continue our hike to ABC.The setting of the Annapurna Base Camp at 4130 m is absolute unique and incredibly spectacular. It is also called Annapurna Sanctuary because of its oval shaped plateau which is surrounded by a ring of mountains. Arriving at ABC we find ourselves face to face with the magical Annapurna I (8091 m). The sunrise there is truly breathtaking. Overnight at lodge.

Day 8:  Annapurna Base Camp ABC (Rest Day)

After breakfast ,you enjoy the mesmerizing view of Annapurna base camp you can hike to himchuli base camp or enjoy your day as you please . Overnight at lodge.

Day 9: ABC- MBC - Bamboo  (7 hours walk)

After breakfast we find ourselves face to face with the magical Annapurna I (8091 m).  It is also called Annapurna Sanctuary because of its oval shaped plateau which is surrounded by a ring of mountains. The sunrise there is truly breathtaking. After breakfast at ABC we go back to MBC  and descend to Bamboo. We stay overnight in Bamboo.

Day 10: Bamboo – Jhinu Danda (6 hours walk)

After breakfast in Bamboo we continue our walk on the same trial which we used before and reach Chhomrong around lunch time. After lunch in Chhomrong we leave our previous path and walk steep down to a very nice place called Jhinu Danda (1780 m). We leave our bags in the lodge and climb down to the take a relaxing bath in the hot springs of the Modi Khola River. We stay overnight in Jhinu Danda.

Day 11: Jhinu Danda – Nayapul – Pokhara (6 hours walk, 1,5 hours by car)

That is our last day on the trek. We start after breakfast and walk through beautiful landscape with many little villages and terraced rice fields. We enjoy the flora of the region and meet numerous colourful butterflies on our way. We arrive in Nayapul in the late afternoon where we take a car to back to Pokhara.
