Kathmandu is religiously one of the most important destinations in Nepal. One of the major Hindu “Shakti Peeths”, Pashupatinath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, is located in Kathmandu. The oldest Hindu Temple of Kathmandu Changunarayan lies here in the neighboring city of Bhaktapur. Lord Bishnu lies on the bed of serpents at “Budanilkantha” Temple, which is situated some 10 km north of Kathmandu. The Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur have a cluster of ancient and medieval temples. These temples at these Durbar Squares are highly holy destinations where Hindu devotee throng daily to offer prayers. The temple of Dakshinkali, which is 22 kilometers Southeast of Kathmandu is revered temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali. Moreover, there are tons of other Hindu pilgrim sites you can explore through. Truly, a blessed valley, Kathmandu is a sacred destination for Hindu pilgrims. A playground for Gods and Goddess as per the Hindu myths Kathmandu is among few cities of South Asia where people start their days with prayers and pass by to greet a God or Goddess seating quietly in one of the thousand temples. Besides these, there are many more Buddhist pilgrim sites like Boudha, Swoyambhu, Namobuddha and numerous other Hindu & Buddhist pilgrim sites that you can explore.

After your breakfast, our tour guide will come to pick you up along with the private vehicle. Firstly you will be visiting the UNESCO world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can observe the typical wood carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city and then you will be heading towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the religious harmony and tolerance between the Buddhist religion and Hindu religion along with that enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here then you can have your lunch on the way and after that you will be visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage site for the Hindu religion people in south east Asia, explore the surroundings and you can observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people at the bank of holy Bagmati river and then visit another pilgrimage site nearby to the Pashupatinath Temple known as Guweyswori Temple, explore the surroundings and then you will go to visit the another UNESCO world heritage site Boudhanath Stupa. It was built in 600A.D. and is the only one of a kind of stupa reflecting Buddhism in the world. Explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa and after completing your sight seen get back to the hotel and rest. Overnight in Yatri Suits and Spa.
After breakfast, you will start your tour from another ancient city nearby to the Kathmandu known as Lalitpur, you will be visiting another UNESCO world heritage site over here in Patan, Krishna Temple, Patan Durbar Square and the other temples nearby to this site are the major attraction of this place, explore the surroundings and later on you can visit the Patan museum as well where you can find the archaeological history and the facts regarding the Patan and the Kings who reigned Patan. After that, you will be visiting the Golden Temple which is the major attraction place for the both Hindu and Buddhist people and then go to visit Banglamukhi Temple and explore its surroundings and after completing your sight seen in Patan you will be heading towards Dakshinkali temple which is about one hour drive away. Overnight in Yatri Suites & Spa.
Today, you will be visiting the northeast side of the valley to another oldest city of Nepal known as Bhaktapur. After reaching to Bhaktapur you will be amazed by seeing the city structure as till today the city has been able to intact its old form, you can observe the old wood carved building all around the Bhaktapur and then you will be visiting another UNESCO world heritage site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, 55 window palace. Explore the surroundings and later on visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temple in Nepal and explore the surroundings and then you will be visiting the clay factory where the potters make the products out of clay in a traditional way. Afterward, you will visit Namo Buddha which is one and half hour away in Dhulikhel. After completing your sight seen get back to Kathmandu and check in hotel and have rest. Overnight in Yatri Suites & Spa.
This is the last day of your tour. Today, you will be visiting another UNESCO listed world heritage site, Changunarayan Temple. Afterward, you will travel to Budhanilkantha another religious site in the valley. It is said that Ex-King dynasty is not allowed to visit the area due to its own history. Later, return to the hotel and have a good rest. Overnight in Yatri Suites & Spa.
