After Breakfast, Sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa (ancient Buddhist stupa), and Swoyambhunath Temple (Monkey temple). All these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage site. Pashupatinath temple is the holiest, oldest, and the most sacred temple of Lord Shiva in the world, Pashupatinath Temple's existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as 'The Temple of Living Beings'. Boudhanath Stupa is located 7 km Northeast of Kathmandu & one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world, built during the 5th century AD. Surrounding area of the stupa also known as little Tibet because this area is covered by Tibetan refugees and is one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley. Kathmandu Dubar Square - is the plaza in front of the old royal palace of the Kathmandu Kingdom. It is one of three Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley, which is also known as Hanuman Dhoka. In this area, you will visit Kumari Temple (Temple of living goddess), Kasthamandap - the wooden temple built by a single tree, palaces, forts, other temples & many more historical sites. Swoyambhunath Stupa - Swayambhunath Stupa is One of world's most glorious, ancient and enigmatic and the holiest of Buddhist Chaityas dating back more than 2000 years which is situated on a hillock'. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. It offers breathtaking views of whole Kathmandu valley with eastern Himalayan ranges so; do not miss a chance to capture the pictures. Return to hotel, and overnight at hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Wake up early in the morning and drive to Kanyam (approx 40km) from the Bhadrapur for the magnificent view of the tea garden. Later, we will drive to Pashupatinagar to visit the cheese factory. This is the border town of Darjeeling district of India. You can also visit En-route destinations like Karfok, Panchakanya, back to Fikkal. After lunch at Fikkal, visit the local market where you can buy "Churpi". Afterward, you will drive to IlamBazaar which takes about one hour and 15 minutes. Overnight in hotel at IlamBazaar.
After breakfast, you will commence your sightseeing at Ilam bazaar. We start by visiting a local market, beautiful tea garden and view tower from where you can see the full view of IlamBazaar. After lunch, you will drive to Mai Pokhari (lake), which is about 13 kilometers away from Ilam Bazaar, measures an altitude of 2438 meters from sea level. At MaiPokhari, you can stroll around the lake, forests, observe rare flora and fauna. Later, visit the local Sherpa’s market Deurali bazaar. After that drive back to Ilam bazaar en route visit Biblate bazaar drive to Shree Antu situated at the height of 1677 meter from sea level, to see the crimson ray of the sunrise of the day which will be changed into the ball of complete shine as the time passes on. The panoramic view will be enjoyed along with the peaks of Mt. Everest and Mt. Kanchenjunga. Overnight in hotel at Ilam.
It will be a long ride from Ilam Bazar to Dharan. Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Dharan. Overnight in Hotel at Dharan.
Early in the morning, you will be visiting Buddha Subba Temple. It is believed to fulfill wishes and bring good luck to the people who visit there. After visiting the temple, breakfast will be taken nearby a restraint in the vicinity of the temple. The tour then moves forward to see the magnificent view of the Dharan valley seen from Bhedetar Tower. In the evening, the tour will return back to Dharan bazaar where you will be visiting Raja Rani Lake and shopping in the town. Overnight stay will be at a hotel.
After breakfast, you will travel to Biratnagar, nearest airport to Dharan, from where you will take a flight back to Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, check-in at your hotel and have rest, be refreshed and take an evening walk in the streets of Thamel. Overnight in hotel at Kathmandu
Today is your last day in Nepal on this trip. Pack up your bags and luggage and get ready for final Departure. Farewell & Transfer to International airport by our office representative to catch the flight for your onward destination.
