Poonhill is the beautiful ridge located inside the Annapurna region and is famous for offering the best sunrise views set against the backdrop of majestic mountains. Ghorepani Poonhill trek is one of the popular treks in Nepal. One can easily take the short Poonhill trekking package to reach the enchanting ridge of Poonhill. The Ghorepani Poonhill trek passes through culturally rich villages such as Ghorepani, Ghandruk, Tikhedhunga, etc. Along with sunrise view over Annapurna Mountain, Poonhill also offers panoramic views of several mountains including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains.
Heading north of Pokhara, we will take one hour of drive to Nayapul. We will leave the wide pitch black road and follow the off the beaten trekking trail. Overall, this trail passes through the rivers, dense rhododendrons forest and Gurung settlements to Poonhill. Along with the sunrise view, one can awaken spiritual feelings in the tranquil Annapurna region.

Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, our representative will meet, greet and welcome you and transfer you to your confirmed hotel. You can rest relax and enjoy your time in the hotel or you can stroll around the city. Overnight accommodation in a hotel.
Our tour guide will come to pick you up along with the private vehicle. Firstly you will be visiting the UNESCO world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can observe the typical wood carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city and then you will be heading towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the religious harmony and tolerance between the Buddhist religion and Hindu religion along with that enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here. After that you will be visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage site for the Hindu religion people in south-east Asia, explore the surroundings and you can observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people at the bank of holy Bagmati river and then visit another pilgrimage site nearby to the Pashupatinath Temple known as Guweyswori Temple, explore the surroundings and then you will go to visit the another UNESCO world heritage site Boudhanath Stupa. It was built in 600A.D. and is the only one of a kind of stupa reflecting Buddhism in the world. Explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa and after completing your sight seen get back to the hotel and rest. Overnight in a hotel.
Today, our guide will receive you and then drive you to Patan. You’ll be driven to one of the ancient cities inside Kathmandu valley i.e. Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. In Patan, you will be visiting another UNESCO World Heritage sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for the both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple.Then after we will be visiting Bhaktapur, you will be amazed by the architecture, as until today the city has been able to be kept intact in its old form. You can observe the old wood carved buildings all around Bhaktapur and then you will visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the surroundings and afterward visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temple in Nepal. Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. On the way, you can enjoy the greenery around and beautiful hills. What attracts most visitors to Pokhara is the richness of the valley with its pure and natural beauty. Just imagine the joy of observing the majestic Himalayas, reflecting its shadow on Fewa Lake and the cleanness of Pokhara city. The Pokhara valley is equally outstanding, giving as they do elevated closeups to the snowy peaks. Pokhara is famous for sightseeing, mountain views, and many adventurous outdoor activities.we will visit Davi's Waterfall, Ghupteswor Mahadev, International Mountain Museum, which are the major attraction for sightseeing in Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Our trekking guide will come to pick you up from your hotel in a private vehicle and transfer you to the trek commencing point, Nayapul (1050m). You will start walking through the old villages and meandering green hills. Terraced paddy fields along the neighboring yet distant hills and the wind gushing in your face makes for a pleasant and smooth drive with much time to enjoy the landscape. Continue walking through the easy trail which passes along paddy fields to Tikhedhunga. Overnight in local lodge.
Getting back on the trail, you will be rising up at a slow and gentle pace, passing through Ulleri (2070m). There are lots of opportunities to interact with the locals and learn, understand and get pure experience about their lifestyle. Along the way, one can enjoy the majestic view of Machhapuchhre (6997m), Huinchuli (6441m), and Annapurna South (7219m) and the world’s largest rhododendron forest. Overnight in local lodge.
Today, you will visit Poonhill, a vantage point, and head to Tadapani. You will begin the trek to Poon Hill (3210 m) in the early morning to catch the first ray of sunlight. The pleasant sunrise at Poonhill trek passes through culturally rich villages that are set against the background of majestic mountains. Along with sunrise view over Mt. Annapurna, Poonhill also offers panoramic views of several mountains including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains. You will return and have your breakfast at Ghorepani, and then commence trek to Tadapani (2650 m). The trek will begin through the thick forest of rhododendrons, bamboos, and oaks. One can observe and appreciate nature’s beauty; waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, birds, and green valleys. Overnight in local lodge.
Start trekking through jungle areas as you will pass through different villages, jungles, and stream. After continuous walking of 3 to 4 hours, you will see the beautiful Gurung village, which is called Ghandruk. This place will be a stopover for tonight. Use your remaining time to explore, interact with the locals and visit the home of Gurung people (an ethnic group of Nepal with unique culture and traditions). This place also provides the fantastic view of the mountains like Annapurna south, Hiuchuli, Fishtail and many more. Overnight in local lodge.
Today is your last day of trekking. After having breakfast in the lodge, you will commence walking downhill to Nayapul, where you will catch the vehicle and return back to Pokhara. Today, your walking will be quiet easily than that of the previous days. As you reach Nayapul, you will catch the vehicle and drive back to Pokhara and your tour ends here.
You will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. On the way, you can see the beautiful hills and slopes. Later, you can stroll through the streets of Thamel for shopping. you can also buy souvenirs for your friends and family. overnight accommodation in a hotel.
Your trip will come to an end today after breakfast. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination. Have a safe journey onwards.
