Darjeeling, formerly known as Darjiling is also known as the place of
thunderbolt or Dorja the mystical. Darjeeling is situated at an altitude of 2,134
m above sea level in North Bengal. Darjeeling is the famous hill station in
West Bengal and has spectacular scenery and offers views of the majestic Himalayas.
The scenic beauty of Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga, the two highest Himalayas
peaks of the world, is something never to be forgotten. Darjeeling is built on
spur on the Ghoom Sanchal Ridge and faces the Himalayas and the surrounding
hills. These hills are thickly covered with coniferous forests or terraced tea
gardens. The upper part of the popular hill station was originally occupied by
the Europeans who built houses with commanding views. Nepali, Lepcha, Tibetan,
Bhutia and Bengali are the various people that live in Darjeeling.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Our representative will meet, welcome, assist you & transfer to the booked hotel. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing. Get refreshed and rest of the day is free for your personal activities.Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Full Day Sightseeing:
After Breakfast, Sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa (ancient Buddhist stupa), and Swoyambhunath Temple (Monkey temple). All these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage site. Pashupatinath temple is the holiest, oldest, and most sacred temple of Lord Shiva in the world, Pashupatinath Temple's existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as 'The Temple of Living Beings'. Boudhanath Stupa is located 7 km Northeast of Kathmandu & one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world, built during the 5th century AD. Surrounding area of the stupa also known as little Tibet because this area is covered by Tibetan refugees and is one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley. Kathmandu Dubar Square - is the plaza in front of the old royal palace of the Kathmandu Kingdom. It is one of three Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley, which is also known as Hanuman Dhoka. In this area you will visit Kumari Temple (Temple of living goddess), Kasthamandap - the wooden temple built by a single tree, palaces, forts, other temples & many more historical sites. Swoyambhunath Stupa - Swayambhunath Stupa is One of world's most glorious, ancient and enigmatic and the holiest of Buddhist Chaityas dating back more than 2000 years which is situated on a hillock'. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. It offers breathtaking views of whole Kathmandu valley with eastern Himalayan ranges so; do not miss a chance to capture the pictures. Return to hotel, and overnight at hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and transfer to Pashupati Nagar.
Flight Duration: 55 mins.
Driving Duration: 3 hour 40 min.
You will be transferred to Kathmandu airport to catch your flights to Bhadrapur Airport, located in Jhapa. From there, you will take a jeep to reach the Pashupati Nagar. On the way, you will get encountered with the green hills, forest and sloppy land with the panoramic view of tea gardens. On the way, there will be a lunch stopover at Fikkal. After lunch, 10 min. jeeps drive to Chhipitar to start the trek to Antudanda. Shree Aantu (2,328m) offers spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset over the eastern Himalayas and unique views of Everest and Kanchanjunga. This trekking along the green hills with picturesque view of greenery takes 3 hours. As motorable road has already been constructed there through which you can take the jeep to return back. You can also visit to Lepcha museum located at Antu Danda. Besides, interact with the local people to have in depth knowledge of the existing culture and tradition. Day 4: Kanyam and Fikkal.
After Breakfast, you will head to the Kanyan, where you will visit the tea garden at Kanyam tea estate. It is situated at a height around 6,000 ft above sea level which is the highest in Ilam district and was first planted under the technical collaboration of the British government. Kanyam is famous for its attractive green tea. The place has large tea land and these land areas are also a well famous Picnic Destination for the tourists. As you head north to the main town, the Pine Trees, the foggy weather, the small tea plants, enhances the serenity of this place. You can also visit the tea factory and can experience horse riding. You are able to look into India towards Darjeeling. Unfortunately there is frequently a very cool and clammy fog here which is very good for the tea Plant. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 5: Pashupatinagar-Darjeeling.
Driving Distance: 2 to 3 hours.
After Breakfast, you will be headed towards Darjeeling. Darjeeling is situated at an elevation of 2,123 meters, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas. This international destination is popularly known as the Queen of the hills. Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with mesmerizing beauty offers spectacular views of the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchenjunga and the rest of spectacular Himalayan range. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is one more attraction. Reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel - In the evening you can stroll around the Mall / local market and surroundings. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 6: Darjeeling - Local Sightseeing:
At around 4:00 AM, we will drive to Tiger Hills for sunrise, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and War Memorial then return back to hotel for breakfast. After Breakfast we will continue our visit to Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden and other surrounding places. After lunch, we will head towards the Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi, rock garden and Ganga Maiya Park - a bare sightseeing spot. Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon the road condition and time factors. It is not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guests within a time period (example HMI & Zoological Park requires minimum 1 & 1/2 hour) – Evening free to roam around any of the hundred nurseries or Local market area. Day 7: Excursion to Mirik.
After Breakfast, we will start the 32 kilometers drive via Nepal border to Mirik. It’s a two hours drive. Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling. It is known for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate. The scenic drive in the beautiful place attracts tourist in horde. Seemana can be the best viewpoint for viewing Mount Kanchendzonga. You can enjoy and engage with activities like boating in the lake. From Here, we will conclude our journey to India and return back to Nepal. On the way visit Pashupati Market in Nepal.Overnight in Hotel.
Day 8: Pashupati Nagar-to Bhadrapur and flight to Kathmandu.
After Breakfast, Return back to Bhadrapur Airport by jeep. Take the flight to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.

Today you have a free day in Kathmandu. You can enjoy your day on your own way. You can explore the town and can buy some souvenir for your nearest and dearest ones, families, relatives and friends. Day 10: Final Departure:
Today is your last day in Nepal in this trip. Pack up your bags and luggage and get ready for final Departure. Farewell & Transfer to International airport by our office representative to catch the flight for your onward destination.
