Rolwaling trek is located in the eastern part of Nepal which provides the magnificent view of the mountains such as Mt. Melungtse, Mt. Tashi Lapch, Mt.Everest, Gauri Shanker, Pharchamo, Ramdung, Langtang, Jugal Himal and Mt. Dorje Lakpa. One can also get to see the varieties of floras and faunas, rivers, streams and lakes, experience the culture and heritages of the local people and the local foods prepared by them in the totally remote Himalayan environment. The indigenous Sherpa says the meaning of "Rolwaling" valley is "the grave" because the valley is located in between the foot of two vertical peaks covered by snow. This trek is very suitable for the people who want to spend their time in the remote place by involving in trekking without the disturbance of other people.

1: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m).
Our representative will meet, greet and transfer you to your booked hotel. Our representative will give you briefing for your respected tour. You can rest and relax for the remaining time. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu – Barabise (819m.)
As you take your Breakfast in the hotel, you will start the day with pleasant drive along the Arniko Highway to Barabise. You can have the beautiful view of green hills with river and streams at some places. Barabise is quiet developed village compared to other villages of the surroundings as it is touched by the Araniko Highway. Checkin to the booked Lodge and overnight stay.
Day 4: Barabise – Kabre (1605m)
Today, you will start walking after having breakfast in Barabise. You will walk through steep path behind the town of Barabise through rice and mustard fields. As you complete the steep trail, you will reach to a ridge from where you can see the beautiful views of the surrounding areas along with Sun Koshi river. Overnight lodge.
Day 5:Kabre – Dolongsa
After having breakfast we will start today's trek to Dolongsa from Kabre. You will start walking through small settlements and Rhododendron forest. You can see many birds enjoying in their own environment in this area. Overnight Local lodge.
Day 6:Dolongsa – Bigu Gompa (2310m)
Today, you have to walk through a very steep trail to climb the pass (3320m) which reflects the breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Everest. You will have sightseeing from the Pass for some time and you will descend down through the magnificent forest to the lone monastery of Bigu Gompa. Overnight in Bigu Gompa.
Day 7:Bigu Gompa – Chilangka (1923m)
The trail is totally descend until you reach to Samling Khola and after Samling Khola, you will continue ascending to reach Chilangka. Overnight in Chilanka.
Day 8: Chilangka – Kulong (1890m.)
You will have gentle walking on the hillside for most of the day with some ascends and descends. You also can have the excellent views of Gauri Shanker Himal (7145m) from most parts of the trail. Overnight in Kulong.
Day 9:Kulong – Shalu (1500m)
After having breakfast in Kulong, you will start todays easy trekking mostly downhill to the village of Jagat Through the Bhote Koshi River. You will have some rest and sightseeing in Jagat. From Jagat, it is an easy walk upstream to Shalu. Overnight at Shalu.
Day 10: Shalu - Simigoan (2000m.)
In the beginning, the trek starts with an easy walk along the river until we cross the Bhote Koshi. From here, we continue our climb through forest before entering the more open Bhote koshi to Simigoan the trail is more steep and difficult. As you reach Simigaon, you will check in to your Lodge and Overnight Stay.
Day 11: Simigoan – Forest Camp (2800m.)
Today, you will start the day with a short steep climb and enter a beautiful mixed forest of moss and Rhododendron as we climb higher. Then the trail descends to our campsite beside the Rolwaling River. Overnight Camp.
Day 12 - 13:Forest Camp – Beding (3694m.)
You will continue your climb through forest before entering the more open Rolwaling Valley at Ramdung and Beding, the largest settlement in the Rolwaling Valley. You will be spending two days roaming around the area and enjoying the scenic beauty of the slightly different and enjoyable combination of nature. Overnight Beding.
Day 14: Beding – Na (4100m.)
You will take your breakfast in Beding and start walking to reach Na. Today your walking will be quiet difficult as you have to reach the place with higher altitude than that of a day before. On the way you can explore the heart touching beauty of Nature. You will continue walking upwards along the valley through Rhododendrons to the summer settlement of Na. Overnight Na.
Day 15: Na (4100m.)
Today is your acclimatization day in Na. You can rest for sometime as you have covered high altitude a day before. After sometime, you can explore the upper slopes of the valley for Snow Partridge or a visit to the nearby glacier. Overnight Na.
Day 16: Na - Forest Camp (2800m.)
After having Breakfast in Na, you will start walking to return back to Forest Camp. You will continuously descend down to the beautiful Forest Camp. Overnight Stay in Forest Camp.
Day 17: Forest Camp - Chetchet at (1'500m. 4'921ft.) about 6 hours Trek
Today we take a different route down the forest to Simigaon before the steep descents down to the Bhote Koshi River. Overnight in Chetchet.
Day 18: Chetchet - Chetre at (1'100m. 3'608ft.) about 6 hours Trek
After having Breakfast in Chetchet, You will leave the place and head towards Chetre. You pass through some interesting villages of medieval manifestation. Here you will also get many photographic possibilities, to catch once in a life time memory. Overnight in Chetre.
Day 19: Chetre - Dolakha at (950m. 3'116ft.) about 6 hours Trek.
Today, you continue trek passing along the valley which has now become the Tama Koshi valley. You will also walk through some very beautiful forest and reach Dolakha. Overnight in Dolakha.
Day 20: Dolakha - Charikot at (1'200m. 3'937ft.) about 7 hours Trek.
After having Breakfast, you will start the day with steep climb which leads you to Charikot; the headquarter of Dolakha district where you can find the facilities like Email and Internet, Hospitals, high class hotels other than the tea houses etc. Overnight in Charikot.
Day 21: Charikot - Kathmandu at (1'365m. 4'478ft) about 6 hours bus journeys.
After having Breakfast in Charikot, we drive back to Kathmandu.
