Tent Peak (5663m), known as Tharpu Chuli lies in the south of the Annapurna Base Camp. We trek in the Annapurna region that has the diverse natural vegetation, animal species, local tradition & culture of Nepal. Our main mission is to summit the peak from where we can get the magnificent views of the mountains. Our treks begin from Naya Pul, near Pokhara

Included in the Cost

  • All land transportation by private vehicle.
  • 2 nights accommodation in 4-star hotel at Kathmandu and 2 nights at 3 star hotel in pokhara in a room only basis.
  • Accommodation throughout the trek on room only basis.
  • All necessary permits to treks and Expeditions.
  • All Camping equipment.
  • An experienced, English-speaking and government-licensed holder trek leader and assistant trek leader (4 trekkers: 1 assistant guide)
  • Porter service (2 trekkers: 1 porter)

  • Day 1

    Arrival at Kathmandu

  • Upon your arrival, our representatives will pick you up and will transfer to your respective hotel. Overnight there

  • Day 2

    Kathmandu to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft): 6 hours drive

  • After breakfast, we drive to Pokhara – the city of lakes and mountains that takes around 5-6 hours, with the scenic views of hills and rivers en route. Overnight in the hotel in Pokhara

  • Day 3

    Drive to Naya Pul and trek to Ghandruk (1940m): 5-6 hours trek

  • We drive around 1 hour to reach Naya Pul where we will start our trek. Upon reaching Birethanti, we trek uphill on the trail to Ghandruk passing through beautiful villages/settlements. We cross the suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola and finally reach Ghandruk. Overnight at Ghandruk

  • Day 4

    Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m): 6 hours

  • We climb up to Ghandrukkot and then a descent to the Kimron Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimron Khola, we walk about an hour to take a steep climb continuing up to Chhomrong - a beautiful village located on the lap of the Annapurna massive. Overnight in Chhomrong.

  • Day 5

    Chhomrong to Dobhan (2,600m): 5-6 hours

  • We move along Modi Khola and cross a suspension bridge over Chhomrong Khola and reach Sinuwa and pass through thick rhododendron forest up to Khuldighar. Then we reach Dobhan. Overnight there.

  • Day 6

    Dobhan to Deurali (3,230m/10,597ft): 1 hour 30 mins

  • This day we walk through Himalaya hotel and Hinku Cave before reaching Deurali. The short trek allows us to acclimatize to the high altitude and prepare for the next day’s trip. Overnight in Deurali.

  • Day 7

    Deurali to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700m): 3-4 hours

  • Walk to Machhapuchre Base Camp is somehow tough but the views it offers is worth it. Overnight in Machhapuchre Base Camp.

  • Day 8

    Acclimatization and preparation

  • We will have a day here for the acclimatization

  • Day 9

    Machhapuchre Base Camp to Cave Camp (4,250m/13,943ft): 5-6 hours

  • The trail from the glacier takes us to the base camp of Annapurna South. Anyway, we move straight and pass through the bridge and continue till reaching the Cave camp. Overnight in Cave Camp.

  • Day 10

    Cave Camp to High Camp (5,200m): 4-5 hours

  • We then climb quite a steep trail to the Tent Peak (Tharpu Chuli) High Camp. We ascend on a 50-60 degree steep path for about couple of hours and walk on a glacier. From there we get splendid views. After that, we will move around for a while

  • Day 11

    Summit Tent Peak (Tharpu Chuli), return to high camp: 9-10 hours

  • Early morning breakfast and then start our summiting mission as there is high wind in afternoon. We walk on a wall rock couple of hours and then we climb a steep slope and reach the summit of Tent Peak/ Tharpu Chuli. After summiting the peak, we retrace the same way back. Overnight in High Camp.

  • Day 12

    Tent Peak High Camp to Machapuchhre Base Camp: 4-5 hours

  • We descend to Machapuchhre base camp from high camp using the same trail as previous. After reaching Machapuchhre base camp, we will have a rest. Overnight in Machapuchhre base camp.

  • Day 13

    Machapuchhre Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m/7575ft): 6-7 hours

  • Again we retrace the same way back to Bamboo, enjoying the nice views of waterfalls, forest, and mountains. Overnight in Bamboo.

  • Day 14

    Bamboo to Jhinu Dada (1760m/5770 ft): 6-7 hours trek

  • We ascend to Kuldi Ghar from Bamboo and then to Sinuwa following the stone steps that take to Lower Chomrong. We then ascend to Upper Chomrong. From Chomrong we descend to Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.

  • Day 15

    Jhinu Dada to Naya Pul, drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

  • We start our trek after breakfast till we reach for lunch at Syauli bazaar and then down to Birethanti. From Birethanti, we trek about an hour to reach Naya Pul where the trek ends. From Naya Pul we take a vehicle and reach Pokhara in about an hour. Overnight in Pokhara.

  • Day 16

    Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu: 6 hours

  • In the morning, we will start our drive to Kathmandu along with the scenic way. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will have rest in your hotel. Overnight there.

  • Day 17


  • You will set off for your onward destination
