Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok:
Upon your arrival at Bangkok airport, you will be met and
transferred to the booked hotel. Bangkok has often been called the ‘Venice of
the East’ due to the presence of its man-made canals. In the afternoon, you
will get the taste of traditional dinner and classical Thai dance performance.
Day 2: Grand Palace & Khlong Tour:
You will have your breakfast in the hotel. Today, you
will visit the spiritual and religious heart of the city - the striking Grand
Palace. Topped by golden stupas, the complex has been the site of royal
coronations and is home to the legendary Emerald Buddha. You will also visit
the House of Reclining Buddha, the Original Thai Massage School and the 24hr Flower
Market before boarding long tail boats to explore the city’s canals. Known as
khlongs, the canals enable surface water to make its way to the sea and have
long been a way of getting around Bangkok. On this journey you will glide by
curious stilted houses and gleaming temples whilst old men fish and children
frolic about on the water's edge.
In the Late afternoon, you can enjoy many bars, restaurants, street performers and market stalls.
Day 3: Bangkok:After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and transferred back to the airport for your flight home.
