This tour offer you most of the popular sightseeing tour in Tibet including potala palace, Norbulinka palace, Sera monstery, Depung monstery, ganden monastery, gyantse, Jokhang temple and Barkhor market sights and Tsetang all the old monastery surrounding Tibet equally important.

Day 01: Fly to Lhasa (3660 m)
Upon your arrival at Gonggar Airport, your Tibetan guide will meet, greet and welcome you and transfer you to Lhasa "Capital of Tibet"(3650 meters). It takes around 45 minutes to reach the old city. After checking in at your hotel, you can rest relax and can acclimatize with the surrounding environment. Drink plenty of fluids and let your body get used to Lhasa’s high altitude. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Lhasa (3660 m)
After breakfast, our Tibetan guide will brief you about the day’s program. You will be taken to Sera Monastery, Norbulingka and the Barkhor Square. At Sera Monastery, you will get an insight into the important aspects of Tibetan Buddhism. You pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer retreat of the Dalai Lama. Completed in 1956, the handsome building is ornately decorated with Tibetan carvings and paintings. Jokhang Temple provides yet another glimpse of the rich Tibetan cultural heritage. You will also get the chance to stroll around the busy Barkhor Square, the nerve centre of Lhasa. After the day’s tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa (3660m)
After having an early breakfast, you will be escorted by your guide to the majestic Potala Palace. The imposing structure of the palace dominates the landscape of Lhasa. As you are guided through the ancient chambers of the palace, you get to see Tibetan art at its best. The Potala Palace has a vast array of intricate Tibetan murals and beautiful statues.
You will also get to view the tombs of the eight Dalai Lamas. Later in the day you will visit the beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery where you can observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourses. After the day’s tour is over, you are escorted back to your hotel for a well- earned rest. Overnight at a hotel.
Note: Only a limited number of visitors are allowed inside the Potala Palace every day. So the order of sightseeing places will be decided upon by your guide.

Day 04: Drive to Shigatse (3900m) / 250km
Today, You will take a 250 km drive and arrive at Shigatse(3900m), the second largest Tibetan city. The main attraction in Shigatse is the Tashilhunpo Monastery. Tashilhunpo is one of the 6 main monasteries of the Yellow Hat Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Tashilhunpo Monastery is the home monastery of the line of Panchen Lamas, the most influential line of lama’s in Tibet after the Dalai Lama. The tombs of the 5th through the 10th Panchen Lama’s are found within the huge monastery. Tashilhunpo is a major pilgrimage destination for Tibetans from across the plateau. The monastery sees the most pilgrims during New Year time, though there are usually at least a few hundred here each day throughout the rest of the year. Nearby to Tashilhunpo Monastery is the newly rebuilt Shigatse Dzong. The Walking Street, a few hundred meters before Tashilhunpo Monastery, is filled with souvenir shops, restaurants and tea houses. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 05: Shigatse to Namtso Lake (4718m) Bali Village/Droja Monastery
Today you will depart Shigatse and start driving to Nam Tso, the largest lake in the Tibet Autonomous Region. You will be trekking around Namtso Lake-Droja Monastery/Buguzari/Ampa Komlong Island. After visiting these places, enjoy the caves in Buguzari, where many animals, plants and special letter-shaped patterns can be seen. Overnight at a camp.

Day 06: Drive back to Shigatse

Today we will drive back to Shigatse. Shigatse is the second largest town in Tibet and the capital of Tsang, lying 354 KMs and west of Lhasa at an altitude of 3,810 m. You can rest for the remaining time and stroll around the surroundings. Overnight at a hotel.

Day: 07 Drive to Lhatse (4050M) 90km
Today after having Breakfast in the hotel, we will commence our drive to Lhatse. It will take around 2 to 3 hours to reach Lhatse. The drive passes through the Gyatso la pass (5220m) and the scenery which you pass through is extraordinarily beautiful. As you arrive in your hotel in Lhatse, you will have your lunch and can relax for the remaining times.  Overnight at a hotel.

Day: 08 Drive to Zhangmu (3600m)
After Breakfast in our hotel in Lhatse, we will commence our drive to Zhangmu. On the way we can view the Jugal Himal. A continued drive with the outstanding view of Mt. Xixapangma (8013m highest in Tibet) Mt. Makalu (8464m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m) and Mt.Everest (8848m) force you to feel like you are in Paradise. Overnight in a Guesthouse.

Day: 09 Drive to Kodari – Kathmandu.
This morning, after having our Breakfast in Kodari, we will commence our drive to Kathmandu by surface via Kodari (Nepal-Tibet border), through the beautiful Nepalese countryside. After finishing immigration formalities in Kodari, we continue our drive towards Kathmandu.
