Tour Details

Pikey Peak is one of the famous viewing points to see the panoramic views of Mount Everest, Mount Dhaulagiri, and Mount Kanchenjunga. From this vantage point, one can see the best sunrise and sunset panoramic views within the deep green valleys. At present, Pikey Peak is one of the most popular short-tour destinations in Nepal among tourists within 6 days of easy trekking.

Pikey Peak is a seasonal snowy hill where local Sherpa people go for short hiking trips and to hang the prayer flag on the top. The Pikey, named after the name of the local Sherpa deity, represents the sky over nature. During the monsoon period, in June or July, local Sherpa people worship their clan god and perform the ceremony of the Buddhist Lama and a group of monks.

Couple Traveller

My partner and I did a 6 day trekking in the Himalayas (Peaky Peak route). I highly recomend it as it gives amazing views of the highest Himalayan mountains (including Mt Everest) and also the chance to experience life in Nepal rural areas.

I also highly recommend Asian Heritage. They were very attentive and helped us with so many questions before our trip. The experience with our guide and porter during the trekking was also outstanding, they were so nice and had so much knowledge. Our guide even invited us to his home and to a Sherpa wedding in his village!
