Bhutan - Nepal Bhutan Highlights Tour (15 days)

Paro valley is the home of various monasteries like; Drukgyel Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang & National Museum. The journey of Thimphu to Paro is best to see a closer view of Mt. Welcome! to Kathmandu Nepal. Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representative welcome you at the Airport with your nameplate.  After Arrival at Nepal airport transfer you to the hotel. On the way Airport to Hotel, you will pass by the Open cremation Place (Pashupatinath temple)Royal Palace Museum i.e NarayanhityGarden Of Dream and reach the Thamel. Your hotel will be in downtown of Touristic Hub.  Our representative will facilitate you and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the street of Thamel. Overnight accommodation in Hotel.

Our tour guide will come to pick you up along with the private vehicle. Firstly you will be visiting the UNESCO world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can observe the typical wood carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city and then you will be heading towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple, enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here. Visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage site for the Hindu religion people in south-east Asia, explore the surroundings and you can observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people at the bank of holy Bagmati river and explore the surroundings. Then you will go to visit the another UNESCO world heritage site Boudhanath Stupa is the only one of a kind of stupa reflecting Buddhism in the world. Explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa and after completing your sight seen get back to the hotel and rest. Overnight in a hotel.

Today, our guide will receive you and then drive you to Patan. You’ll be driven to one of the ancient cities inside Kathmandu valley i.e. Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. In Patan, you will be visiting another UNESCO World Heritage sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for the both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple. Then after we will be visiting Bhaktapur, you will be amazed by the architecture. Observe the old wood carved buildings all around Bhaktapur. Explore the surroundings and afterward visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temple in Nepal. Here, you can also take the pottery making class using the traditional methods. You will visit the Pottery Square. Here, you can also take the pottery making class using the traditional methods. You will be taught to design your own pot and once you have your basic shape hammered out, you can even choose to adorn your creation with beautiful patterns and inscriptions. Overnight accommodation at the hotel.

Flying over the dragon kingdom and landing at Paro international airport that is in the magnificent valley and home to monasteries and temples, Chomolhari and Jitchu Drake peak. Then you will be welcomed upon your arrivalArrival, welcome and drive to Thimphu (65km-2 hrs) capital city of Bhutan, check in to the hotel and overnight there.

After breakfast, visit the market opened for 4 days in a week (on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday), Handmade paper Mill, School of Arts and crafts where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan, Lunch will be in town. Drive pass by Memorial Chorten (temple) built in memory of the late 3rd King. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley, an enclosure where the national animal, Takin are kept and Zilukha Nunnery. Overnight in Thimpu.

Today we drive you to Punakha over the Dochu La pass which is at an altitude of 3,050 meters (10,000 ft) and on the way you will see more of the beautiful scenery Bhutan has to offer. Once at Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong, and settle down for the lunch. After lunch visits Wangdi Dzong from the outside and drives to Thimphu. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/Kyi-chu Lhakhang. On a clear day, one can see the Majestic Chomolhari. Also visit the National Museum located in the TA Dzong, which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons .Overnight at hotel.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will fly to Kathmandu. Our representative will meet up and manage your flight's tickets to Pokhara. You can enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains from the window seat from Paro to Kathmandu flight. upon arrival, at Kathmandu, our guide will assist and you will fly to Pokhara.Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Today, you will be sightseeing the beautiful Pokhara. The enigmatic Davi’s Falls is a few minute’s drives away. The Pardi Khola is the outflow from Phewa Lake, and at Devi’s Fall, it disappears into a mysterious cavern in the ground, creating magnificent sprays. Another attraction is the Seti Gandaki river, which flows right through the heart of the town. The limestone in the soil gives the river its milky color. At certain spots, the Seti Gandaki runs completely underground. There are a number of Tibetan settlements around Pokhara which sell handicraft goods & Tibetan carpets. Today we will visit Davi's Waterfall, Ghupteswor Mahadev, International Mountain Museum, which is the major attraction for sightseeing in  Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Today, you will start off with an early drive to Sarangkot to capture the tranquil and magical view of the city before sunrise and also to view the first rays of sunlight hitting the mountains in the background. Sarangkot offers panoramic views of the Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and other mountains. Thereafter, we will go for boating at Fewa lake and we will hike towards Peace Stupa. Pokhara Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument on Anadu Hill of the former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee, in the district of Kaski. The boat trip crossing Phewa Lake from Pumdi Bhumdi bay to Phewa Ghat lasts up to half an hour, and it is a good opportunity to enjoy the sight of Himalayan peaks reflecting on the water. It is also a relaxing way to end a hiking day and a panoramic loop at the World Peace Pagoda. Overnight in Hotel.

Today, we will drive you to Lumbini. You will visit the scared garden with Mayadevi temple depicting the birth of Lord Buddha, the Ashoka pillar pinpointing the place of birth of the Buddha and the Sakyan Tank where Mayadevi, the mother of the Buddha is supposed to have taken a dip before bringing forth the baby. All around this holy site there are remnants of monasteries and chaityas built over the centuries following the Buddha's birth in 623 B.C. Overnight in Lumbini.

Today we will we visit Lumbini in the early morning. You will be exploring different Monastic zones: German Monastery, Chinese Monastery, Thai monastery, International nuns, Golden temple. The Peaceful Monastic zone flourishes the teachings of Lord Buddha. Learn about the different cultures in different monastic zones of Lumbini. After finishing sightseeing, you will continue the journey to Chitwan. You will reach Chitwan in the early evening and check-in to the hotel. Overnight in Hotel

Today we will walk around the jungle and we will commence deep down in the forest in the local jeep to trace the footprints of the tiger. Get ready to get another glimpse of the one-horned rhino, Asian elephant, Spotted Deer (Chital), Barking Deer, Hog Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer, Black Buck, Bull, Wild Boar, Wild Dog, Leopard, and many other wild animals.  After completing the jungle safari, we will head for the canae trip. You will canoe ride along the Rapti river. You will see the varieties of birds in the river along with the canoe trip. Overnight in Chitwan.

Today we will drive back to kathmandu.later on you can stroll through the street of the Thamel for buying gifts as a token of love for your friends and family.Overnight in a hotel.

Your trip will come to an end today. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination. Have a safe journey onwards.
