Itinerary

Day 1Flight Kathmandu-Nepalgunj and drive to Bardiya (1,441m/4,727ft)

The flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj takes about an hour. Nepalgunj, a city in the western part of Nepal, serves as the gateway to the remote and beautiful Bardiya National Park. Many tourists interested in wildlife and nature visit Bardiya to explore its dense forests grasslands, and riverbanks. There they can encounter a variety of rare and endangered animals such as tigers, elephants, rhinos, and crocodiles.

After landing in Nepalgunj, you will drive approximately 90 kilometers to Bardiya. The drive takes about four hours and can be quite bumpy and dusty, especially during the dry season.

Day 2Jungle Safari and Exploration of the Tiger Territory

Day 3Jeep Safari
