Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in kathmandu

Welcome To Nepal. Asian Heritage Representative will be waiting outside at the arrival area to welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Check in to your sumptuous room at the luxury 3 to 4-star Hotel Yatri. Our representative will facilitate you and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the street of Thamel.

Day 2Bouddhanath & Monastery visit, Drive duration: 30 minutes.

Today our representative will facilitate you and transport will drive you to Boudha. Full-day guided sightseeing in Bouddhanth and others. Boudhanath Stupa is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The Boudhanath stupa is known to be the holiest temple grounds in Kathmandu. Boudhanath temple is decorated with water, fire, colors, and the uniformity of the monks and servants, this acts as a symbol for the religion. Kapan Monastery located near Boudhanath is famous for Tibetan Buddhism. Fulhari Gompa is beautifully decorated and there are many nice garden areas, stupas, and inspirational sayings dotted around the monastery.

Day 3Swayambhunath & Patan, Drive duration: 1 hour.

Our representative will facilitate you and transport will drive you to Syambhunath. Swayambhunath temple as known as the monkey temple is listed as a world heritage site. Swyambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the religious harmony and tolerance between the Buddhist religion and Hindu religions along with that enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here. After visiting Swayambhunath we will visit, Patan. You will discover the ancient Buddhist cultures and architecture of Patan. It is one of the most popular monasteries in Nepal.

Day 4Kathmandu to Namobuddha

Our representative will facilitate you and transport will drive you to Namobuddha. Namobuddha is one of the important Buddhist sites also known as ‘Takmo Lu Jin’ ie tigress body generosity by Tibetans. Constructed in 1976 there is a Tranghu Tashe Yangste monastery on the side of the hill which attracts lots of visitors. Visit Thranghu Tashe Yangche Monastery at the top of the hill.

Day 5Namobuddha to Bandipur

Today we drive towards Bandipur. Bandipur is an ancient Newari town and once a center for trading Tibetan markets. You will see the Thanimai temple and see the local Gurung villages. You will see the Bandipur bazaar and visit Tindhara.

Day 6Bandipur to Lumbini & Sightseeing, Drive duration: 7/8 hours.

Today we drive towards Lumbini. Lumbini is one of the holiest places of one of the world’s great religions, and its remains contain important evidence about the nature of Buddhist pilgrimage centers from as early as the 3rd century BC. Today you will dwell with of beauty of Lumbini. You will be exploring different Monastic zones: German Monastery, Chinese Monastery, Thai Monastery, International nuns, and Golden Temple. The Peaceful Monastic zone flourishes the teachings of lord Buddha. Learn about the different cultures in different monastic zones of Lumbini. Then after, we will wander the Maya Devi temple.

Day 7Tilaurakot & Drive to Pokhara, Drive duration: 2 hours & 6 hours.

Today, we will be heading toward Tilaurakot. It is a place where Buddha spent 29 years of his life on the banks of the Banganga River.

We drive to Pokhara in the early morning. Then after, we will drive you to Pokhara. What attracts most visitors to Pokhara is the richness of the valley with its pure and natural beauty.

Day 8Pokhara Monasatery

Visit Pokhara Shanti Stupa. World Peace Pagoda located at Pumdi village is a symbol of Buddhist culture. It is 115ft tall and displays the statues of Gautam Budhha. Matepani Ghumba established in the 1960s is 5 km east of downtown and carries the religious importance of Budhha. You can enjoy the eye-catching view of the valley.

Day 9Pokhara to Kathmandu, Drive duration: 6/7 hours.

Today we drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 10Departure

Our representative will pick you up and drive you to Kathmandu. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination. Have a safe journey onwards.
