Eastern Nepal Tour takes you through Ilam- Heaven of Earth, the divinely bestowed upon nature, situated in the eastern region of the beautiful Himalayan Kingdom, Nepal. This charming area lies at the foothill of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world, and is fully covered by the structure, virgin fertile soil, diverse climate, and its arts and unique style. The people are friendly and hospitable; their different cultural richness, the festivals they celebrate, and their traditions are unique. Ilam is a district of the Eastern Development Region of Nepal that is inhabited by people of different cultures and traditions but living together in harmony. We can find the land of lush-green tea gardens in Ilam, and the gently sloping hills covered with tea leaves are simply wonderful. Greenery is all over the hills of Ilam all around the year. Illam Tea Garden is situated near Ilam Bazaar, and Kanyam Tea Garden is located between Terai plain and Ilam Bazaar. There are many places suitable for trekking in Ilam, and these places are extremely appropriate for Relaxation and enjoyment.
Welcome! To Kathmandu Nepal. Asian Heritage Treks & Travel Representative welcome you at the Airport with your nameplate. After Arrival at Nepal airport transfer you to the hotel. On the way Airport to Hotel, you will pass by the Open cremation Place (Pashupatinath temple), Royal Palace Museum i.e. Narayanhity, Garden Of Dream and reach the Thamel. Your hotel will be in downtown of Touristic Hub. Our representative will facilitate you and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the street of Thamel.

Our tour guide will come to pick you up along with the private vehicle. Firstly you will be visiting the UNESCO world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can observe the typical wood-carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city and then you will be heading towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the religious harmony and tolerance between the Buddhist religion and Hindu religion along with that enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here. After that, you will be visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage sites for the Hindu religion people in south-east Asia, explore the surroundings and you can observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people at the bank of holy Bagmati river and explore the surroundings. Then you will go to visit another UNESCO world heritage site Boudhanath Stupa. It was built in 600A.D. and is the only one of a kind of stupa reflecting Buddhism in the world. Explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa and after completing your sight seen get back to the hotel and rest.

After breakfast, You start the Eastern Nepal tour with a flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and drive to Kanyam (approx 40km) from Bhadrapur for the magnificent view of the tea garden. Later, we will drive to Pashupatinagar to visit the cheese factory. This is the border town of the Darjeeling district of India. You can also visit En-route destinations like Karfok, Panchakanya, and back to Fikkal. After lunch at Fikkal, visit the local market where you can buy “Churpi.” Afterward, you will drive to IlamBazaar, which takes about one hour and 15 minutes.

After breakfast, you will commence your sightseeing at the Ilam bazaar. We start by visiting a local market, beautiful tea garden and view tower from where you can see the full view of IlamBazaar. After lunch, you will drive to Mai Pokhari (lake), which is about 13 kilometers away from Ilam Bazaar, which measures an altitude of 2438 meters from sea level. At MaiPokhari, you can stroll around the lake and forests and observe rare flora and fauna. Later, visit the local Sherpa’s market, Deurali bazaar.
After that, drive back to the Ilam bazaar en-route visit Biblate bazaar and drive to Shree Antu, situated at the height of 1677 meters from sea level, to see the crimson ray of the sunrise of the day, which will be changed into the ball of complete shine as the time passes on. The panoramic view will be enjoyed along with the peaks of Mt. Everest and Mt. Kanchenjunga.

It will be a long ride from Ilam Bazar to Dharan. Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Dharan.

On the sixth day of Eastern Nepal Tour, you will be visiting the Budha Subba Temple. It is believed to fulfill wishes and bring good luck to the people who visit there. After visiting the temple, breakfast will be taken nearby a restraint in the vicinity of the temple. The tour then moves forward to see the magnificent view of the Dharan valley seen from Bhedetar Tower. In the evening, the tour will return to Dharan bazaar, where you will visit Raja Rani Lake and shop in the town.

After breakfast, you will travel to Biratnagar, the nearest airport to Dharan, from where you will take a flight back to Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, check-in at your hotel and rest, be refreshed, and take an evening walk in the streets of Thamel. This marks the end of Eastern Nepal tour.

Today is your last day in Nepal on this trip. Pack up your bags and luggage and get ready for the final Departure. Farewell & Transfer to the International airport by our office representative to catch the flight for your onward destination.
