Mohare Danda & Poonhill 6-day trekking en more!.. Last week we came back home, after a wonderful journey of 2 weeks through our beloved Nepal, which actually also feels a bit like coming ‘home’ every time we were able to set foot on the Nepali ground. As we had very good experiences with Asian Heritage treks and expeditions, with this company, while they arranged more excursions and all kind of other arrangements for us over the years, since 2006, (like private transport, several trekking, excursions, trip from Kathmandu to Lhasa etc.) Also, this time, we found it obviously, that for this trip, we asked Asian Heritage to arrange all transport and excursions and trekking again. As we had such good experience with this very kind but even more important: experienced and professional team. We visited Nepal in the past, this was first time we came with kids! This time we visited Kathmandu, Chitwan NP, Pokhara and the highlight of our trip was definitely the 6-day trekking to Mohare Danda and Poonhill. The Mohare Danda trek is an eco-community lodge trek. Provides close views of for example, Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Fishtail, and we have seen glorious sunrises and sunsets! Especially the first 4 days of the trekking where quite ‘off the beaten-track’. And the first 3 days we literally walked between hills, mountains, rivers and forests of oaks bamboo and rhododendron, completely on our own. The first 3 days we literally seen only 2 other hikers on our path! And besides the people of the local community lodges we stayed, and a few local people, getting firewood in the forests on the way, we did hardly see another sole... You really have the feeling you are the only one there blend in nature. A unique experience. During the trekking we were accompanied and guided by Naresh, (coincidently also an old friend who helped us out in more challenging times in the past, when visiting Nepal about a decade ago) Very kind porter Prem also joined us this time. All the time we felt really welcomed, well guided, and in safe company by their nice guidance and in good connection. Also, our guide explained to the children about Nepal, it’s nature and culture, which made this a very interesting and gave them the chance to learn a lot during this trip as well. We had a bit of health issue and transport challenges during the trip. As every journey, but also in Nepal always can come with some ‘surprises’ or unplanned circumstances. (for example, this time, due to no flights from Pokhara to Kathmandu at the time we were there, due to the bad sights) This is actually also the nice thing about a visit to Nepal. You never know, Nepal will always surprise you, also with some kind of unplanned ideas, and you can train your own flexibility a bit in the meantime as well. J. All the time, the Asian Heritage treks team, where in close contact with us, and very well communicating and flexible, to come to a good solution together. So we could continue our plan flexible and smoothly! We had a great experience and journey. Which has given us and our children the opportunity to (re-) experience the beauty of Nepal and especially the kindness of the people. Sincerely want to thank you once again, dear Nilam and team of Asian Heritage Treks and expeditions. A big gratitude for giving us the chance for catching up old great memories and for making this wonderful new memorable time together!

Unforgettable experience I went on the 'Nepal Cultural Highlights in 10 Days' tour all by myself, and it was amazing! When I got to Kathmandu, I felt the buzz of the city right away. There were ancient temples, busy markets, and so much history all around. Outside the city, I visited quiet villages in the mountains. Meeting local people and learning about their lives was my favorite part. They were so friendly, and I got to join in on some cool traditions. The scenery was amazing. From Pokhara's calm lakes to the huge mountains of the Annapurna range, it was all so beautiful. Being on my own gave me the chance to really soak everything in, but I never felt lonely. The group I was with was like a little family, and our guide made sure we had fun and learned lots. Overall, this trip was even better than I had hoped. It's something I'll always remember, and I'd tell anyone to go for it if they want to see the best of Nepal.

Unforgettable Trip I just finished the incredible 10-day Nepal Cultural Highlights Tour and can't recommend it enough! The itinerary was fantastic. We covered so much history and culture, from the stunning temples of Kathmandu to Buddha's birthplace in Lumbini. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable, bringing the sights to life. The jungle safari in Chitwan was an unforgettable experience, as we spotted rhinos and elephants in their natural habitat. A truly immersive and enriching journey through the heart of Nepal!

To the agency I am saying one big THANK YOU. This trip was amazing!

Amazing experience! I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to thank this agency, especially Devi and Nilham, for ensuring I had the best experience during my time here. This trip was my first time leaving Europe for Nepal, and it was truly eye-opening. I thoroughly enjoyed the Nepal highlights tour and can confidently say that this was not my last time in Nepal. My trip to Nepal I just returned from the 16-day Nepal Highlights Tour with yoga classes. It was fantastic! The accommodations were good, the food delicious, and the beautiful views completed the trip! It was my first time in Nepal alone and I was warmly welcomed by Devi upon arrival. It was a bit of a culture shock for me if you are used to the Netherlands. but Nilam, the owner of Asian Heritage Treks, made me feel right at home and arranged everything well. I could always ask questions and they are also super flexible! If I wanted to make some adjustments to my program, that was no problem and it was arranged immediately. I can really say with conviction that this organization is very reliable and meets all my expectations. I'm a woman traveling alone, so I wanted nothing more than to feel safe and comfortable. Nilam, Devi and Naresh and the taxi drivers took care of that! I am very grateful to them all for contributing to this unforgettable journey. Nepal is in my heart and I will definitely come back!
