Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Upon your arrival, you will be picked up by our representatives and will be transferred to the designated hotel. In the evening, our team representative will brief you about your program.

Day 2Sightseeing in Kathmandu

In the morning, our tour guide will come to pick you up along with the private vehicle. Firstly you will be visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can observe the typical wood-carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city and then you will be heading towards Swayambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the religious harmony and tolerance between the Buddhist religion and Hindu religion along with that enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here.

Then you can have your lunch on the way and after that, you will be visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage sites for the Hindu religion people in Southeast Asia, explore the surroundings and you can observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people at the bank of holy Bagmati river and then visit another pilgrimage site nearby to the Pashupatinath Temple known as Guweyswori Temple, explore the surroundings and head towards Boudhanath stupa which was built in 600A.D. Upon reaching the Boudhanath explore the surroundings and after completing your sightseeing get back to the hotel and rest.

Day 3Sightseeing tour around Patan and Bhaktapur

You will start your day by visiting another ancient city nearby to Kathmandu known as Patan, you will be visiting another UNESCO World Heritage site over here in Patan, Krishna Temple, Patan Durbar Square, and the other temples nearby to this site is the major attraction of this place, explore the surroundings and later on, you can visit the Patan museum as well where you can find the archaeological history and the facts regarding the Patan and the Kings who reigned Patan.

After that you will visit the Golden Temple which is the major attraction place for both Hindu and Buddhist people and then go to visit Banglamukhi Temple and explore its surroundings after completing your sightseeing in Patan you will be heading towards the northeast of another oldest city of Nepal known as Bhaktapur.

After reaching Bhaktapur you will be amazed by seeing the city structure as till today the city has been able to intact its old form, you can observe the old wood-carved buildings all around Bhaktapur and then you will visit another UNESCO world heritage site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, 55 window palace. Explore the surroundings and later on visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temples in Nepal and explore the surroundings and then you will visit the clay factory where the potters make the products out of clay in a traditional way. After completing your sightseeing get back to Kathmandu and check in the hotel and rest.

Day 4Sightseeing tour to Chandragiri hills, driving duration: 2 hours

Our tour guide will come to pick you up at the hotel and then head towards Chandragiri Hill which is 7 kilometers far away from Kathmandu. Chandragiri Hill is situated at 2551 meters above sea level and is covered with a lush green blanket of flora and fauna.

After reaching over here you will be taking a cable car through the base of the station to head towards Temple above the hill while being in the cable car enjoy the view of the Thankot valley and after reaching the Chandragiri hill explore the surroundings and temple and enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu valley along with the Himalaya ranges looming on the northeast, from here you can view the Annapurna mountain, Ganesh Himal, Langtang mountain and the Mount Everest as well. After completing your sightseeing our vehicle will drive you back to the hotel as you might be tired of today’s sights-seen excursion so have a sound rest.

Day 5Drive to Budanilkantha & hike to Kapan monastery, driving duration: 2 hours, hiking duration: 2 hours

Today, you will be visiting the Narayanthan temple which is situated on the northern side of the Kathmandu valley. It is situated on the base of the Shivapuri forest, Narayanthan temple is almost 10 kilometers away from Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you can observe the Hindu religious people offering their prayers to God and Goddesses around the temple.

The major attraction of this place is the statue of Lord Vishnu- the Hindu God known as Budhanilkantha- which means old blue throat residing on the twisting coils of the cosmic serpent- the multi-headed king of serpent deities. Explore the surroundings and after some time you will start your hike through the Shivapuri National Park. Shivapuri National Park is home to 177 species of birds and animals like deer, wild boar, bear, leopard, and monkeys. After walking for almost 3 kilometers you will reach the Tibetan nunnery of Nagi Gompa, and explore the monastery. Enjoy the soaring view of Kathmandu Valley from here you will be following the ridgeline to the south-east through the sprawling forest which will bring you down to the Kapan monastery.

Kapan monastery is another beautiful monastery in Kathmandu Valley where you can learn and meditate as a Buddhist guru. Explore the monastery and its surroundings as you will be in bliss while you’re visiting this monastery as you will find most of the monks offering and enchanting prayers to the Lord Buddha. After completing your sightseeing our vehicle will come to pick you up at the Kapan and from there drive back.

Day 6Departure

Today is your last day in Nepal on this trip. Pack up your bags and luggage and get ready for the final Departure. Farewell and transfer to the International airport by our office representative to catch the flight for your onward destination.
