Tour Details

The Nar Phu Valley Trek is one of the most untouched and serene trekking trails in the northern Annapurna region, offering excellent views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Himal, Tilicho Peak, and more. The trek commences in Bhulbhule and leads you through a scenic route to the villages of Nar and Phu. Along the trek, you can immerse yourself in remote villages, narrow canyons, lush forests, impressive rock formations, encounters with yaks, visits to ancient Buddhist monasteries, and exposure to unique Himalayan cultures. Situated in a remote area between the renowned Damodar Kunda and the Annapurna region, the Nar Phu Valley is home to diverse ethnic groups such as Gurung, Magar, Manangi, and Bhotes, who have practiced Tibetan Buddhism for centuries. Explore the Tibetan villages, still retaining their traditional charm and yet untouched by the modern world.

The Nar Phu Valley trek starts with a drive from Kathmandu along the Lamjung Highway to reach Bhulbhule. We will stop at Chyamje to begin our trek. Our route takes us through Koto and Meta before reaching Phu Village. In Phu Village, we will visit the iconic Tashi Lakhang Monastery, which is listed among the 108 best monasteries in the world. From there, we will continue our journey through the mountains towards Nar Village, accompanied by Lamjung Himal, Tilicho, Annapurna, and many others. Upon crossing the Kang La Pass, we will return via the Annapurna Circuit Trek route. Following the trail, we will cross the world-famous Thorong La Pass and reach Muktinath, located in the lower Mustang region. Finally, our journey will conclude with a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara.

Highlights of Nar Phu Valley Trek are:
  • Jawdropping views of Mt. Annapurna II, Himlung Himal, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak.
