Early in the morning, we start our jeep drive to our trip commencing point (Syabru Besi). Once we drive out of the Kathmandu Valley, the roads twist and turn along the high hills through remote villages. The landscape changes radically as well as the lifestyle of the people living along the way. When you reach the village of Ranipauwa, you can view the Annapurna Mountain range in the west and the Langtang Mountain range in the east. Following the Trishuli River and touring over rough roads, the road guides you into the Langtang National Park where you will immediately notice the remoteness of the human settlement at a high altitude.

We pass through Bhotekoshi and follow Langtang Khola which goes to Bamboo to ascend gently to Ramche (2400 meters) through Bamboo (1960 meters) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola and finally to Lama Hotel.

Today is a strenuous day as we have to climb about 1000 meters. We start by climbing up towards a steep forest slope to the Langtang River. Continuing our trail, we reach Ghoda Tabela, which means the Horse Stable. After this, the path is slightly gradual and offers the beautiful sight of grazing Yaks in the valley. After ascending for some time, we cross a stream and climb past several water-driven prayer wheels to the large settlement of Langtang. Langtang is one of the oldest villages along this trekking route and the view from here is more spectacular as we get closer to the mountains.

We climb to Sindum and Yamphu (3640 m) crossing the Laja Khola then climb a moraine to a viewpoint. After Kyanjing Gompa, hiking to Kyanjing Ri (4773 m) and then trek back to Kyanjing Gompa.

We visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular mountains, and ascend at Chorkari Ri (5050 meters).

Walking through the rocky path we reach the glacier part where we set up our camp where we practice for the next day’s climb.

Very early morning breakfast and then climb to head to the summit because there will be winds in the noon. The team will arrange the gears and after good teamwork, we will reach the summit from where we can get glimpses of magnificent views.

Trek back to Kyanjing Gompa.

Today, you have to walk 6 to 7 hours downhill through a dense forest to reach Lama Hotel. You will walk through the ethnic Tamang settlements where the people are influenced by Tibetan religion and cultural practices.

Today is your last day of trekking. After having breakfast, you will start trekking down to Syabru Besi. The total trek is downhill and you will walk through a lush green forest.

Your trip will come to an end today. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination.
