The capital city of Kathmandu, the beautiful and serene Dhulikhel that is located in Kathmandu Valley, the Jungle of Chitwan National Park, the Birthplace of Buddha; Lumbini, Pokhara, and the entrance to the Himalayas mountains will be covered. Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Namaste! and welcome to Nepal. A representative of Asian Heritage will welcome you at the airport with your name signed. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred to your hotel. There you can have some rest. Later, your guide will meet you at the hotel for the trip briefing on Nepal cultural round-trip including the Poonhill trek.

Day 2Kathmandu sightseeing

In the early morning, you will meet your guide who will take you for a full-day sightseeing program through Kathmandu. You will visit the highlights the city has to offer, including the famous Monkey Temple, Bouddhanath stupa, and the Pashupatinath temple. You will end your day with a unique Tibetan Momo cooking workshop, including a dinner. Here you learn how to make the famous Tibetan momos (dumplings).

Day 3Bhaktapur sightseeing and continue to Dhulikhel

Bhaktapur is one of the true highlights of Nepal. Walking through this old royal city feels like you have gone back in time. The squares in Bhaktapur are filled with beautiful temples, and the small alleys are waiting to be discovered by you. Around lunchtime, your guide will bring you to the best possible (and healthy for tourists) places to try local street food. Bhaktapur is famous for its pottery square, where clay pots are made and sold by local craftsmen. You have the opportunity to participate in a 1-hour pottery class to make your own clay pots.
In the late afternoon, you will drive further to Dhulikhel. A small and quiet village in Kathmandu Valley with nice scenery.

Day 4Dhulikhel to Chitwan

Chitwan National Park is a preserved area in the Terai Lowlands of south-central Nepal, known for its biodiversity. Its dense forests and grassy plains are home to rare mammals like one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers. The park shelters numerous bird species, including the giant hornbill. Dugout canoes traverse the northern Rapti River, home to crocodiles. Inside the park is Balmiki Ashram, a Hindu pilgrimage site.

Day 5Chitwan Jungle safari (Canoe ride+ Jungle walk)

An exciting day at the Chitwan Safari watching animals from a safely guarded vehicle with expert personnel who will tell details about the animals encountered. Picture opportunities will arise.

Day 6Chitwan to Lumbini and Lumbini sightseeing

Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. It is a holy place and a tour through Lumbini brings peace and calmness to one’s mind. The places that will be visited during this trip are; Maya Devi Temple, Bodhi Temple, Maya Devi Pond, and Ashoka Pillar, an extensive trip through the monastery zone that includes monasteries built through various architectural styles.

Day 7Lumbini to Pokhara

The day will be dedicated to traveling to Pokhara. Driving duration: 6-7 hours

Day 8Pokhara sightseeing

On the 8th Day of our Nepal cultural round-trip including the Poonhill trek, We start early by waking up to make way to see the sunrise at Sarangkot Hill. It is a sight to behold and will be imprinted in your memory for a long time. After eating breakfast there is an option to engage in adrenaline-inducing Paragliding. This activity is optional. In the afternoon visits to the International Mountain Museum, Davis Falls, Gupteshower Cave, and Peace Pagoda will be arranged. Like the start of the day, the day will end with experiencing the sunset from the top of Anadu Hill. After soaking in the experience transportation to the hotel will be arranged.

Day 9Pokhara to Nayapul (1.5h driving) Start trekking to Ulleri (5/6h trekking)

The day commences with waking up fresh and having breakfast in preparation for the long day ahead. After being transported to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek to Ulleri. On the way to Ulleri small villages will be passed where local life can be witnessed and Terraced rice fields will be part of the scenery while trekking to Ulleri. The night will stay at the Mogar community.

Day 10Ulleri to Ghode Pani (2750m) (4/5 hours)

From Ulleri to Ghode Pani the trek will go through a beautiful Rhododendron forest. The Annapurna South, Fishtail Mountain, and Hiunchuli can be seen during this trek. The night will be stayed at Ghode Pani at a guesthouse.

Day 11Ghode Pani via Poon hill to Tadapani (3210m) (6/7 Hours)

The day will start early to experience the sunrise from Poon Hill. The Poon Hill offers a panoramic view of the Annapurna Region including the Dhaulagiri Mountain. After returning to the guesthouse and having breakfast the trek to Tadapani starts. On the way to Tadapani, the view of Annapurna continues and it is followed up by the serene environment of the forest and mountain. Upon arrival at Tadapani, the night will be stayed at a tea house.

Day 12 Tadapani to Tolka (7/8 hours trekking)

The day starts with breakfast and preparation for the long day of trekking to Tolka. The first couple hours are downhill through the forest and then Ghandruk village is the first village that is reached. Lunch is eaten at the Ghandruk Village and the Annapurna mountain range is still in sight from the Ghandruk village. Continuing from Ghandruk the trek goes to Landruk and the end destination for the day, Tolka. The overnight is arranged in a tea house.

Day 13Tolka to Pokhara via Australian base camp (5/6 hours trekking - 1.5 hours driving)

The 13th day of our Nepal cultural round-trip including the Poonhill trek, starts again with eating breakfast and preparing for the last day of trekking to Pokhara. The first village encountered on this trek is Dewrali. This village offers a view of the Pokhara Valley. Continuing from Dewrali the trek goes to Australian Base Camp. From there Kadhe the endpoint of the trek is 45mins downhill trekking. From Kadhe a taxi is arranged to the hotel in Pokhara. The night will be stayed at the hotel.

Day 14Pokhara to Kathmandu

Return to Kathmandu is planned by a Tourist Bus. Driving duration: 6-7 hours

Day 15Departure

Our representative will pick you up and drive you to Kathmandu. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination.
