Your experience of this enchanting kingdom begins with a flight over the Himalaya into the Paro valley truly one of life’s most spectacular sights. You will view the world’s highest, most majestic peaks and enjoy the view of the approaching valley with its primeval alpine forests, monasteries, temples and farmhouses nestled in splendid mountain isolation. Your Bhutan Visa will then be stamped in your passport on arrival at Paro International Airport. After clearing customs & immigrations your Bhutanese Guide will greet you at welcome gate and drive to Thimphu.
Later in the afternoon visit Tashichhodzong or the fortress of glorious religion’ was built in 1641.The Dzong was later rebuilt by third king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck in 1965. Tashichhodzong is Bhutan’s administrative and religious centre and houses the throne room of His Majesty the king, Government ministries, the nation’s largest monastery and headquarters of his holiness the Je Kenpo and the monk body. The national assembly hall is located in a new building across the river is a parliament house. Evening free time in Thimphu town.

On the second day of your Royal Bhutan Tour, you are going to soak yourself in scenic nature, take Jigme Dorji Wangchuk Park walks, and hike to Tango Monastery in the morning. In the afternoon, we will visit the Buddha viewpoint, art school, and weekend market. Enjoy the evening walk in town.

Explore the beautiful temples at Dochula Pass. On the third day of the Royal Bhutan Tour, gain insight into the rich flora and fauna of Bhutan with a visit to the royal botanical garden at Lamperi. In the afternoon, embark on a hike to the fertility temple in Mesina. In the evening, join the nuns for prayers at Punakha.

Retrace our drive back to Paro via Dochula, Thimphu, and Chuzom. Upon arrival, experience dressing in traditional Bhutanese attire, trying your hand at archery and visiting a typical farmhouse to savor a Bhutanese meal with local families. Conclude the day with a relaxing hot stone bath before checking into the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast Take a day walk to the ‘Tiger’s Nest’, the sacred Taktshang monastery which clings to the rock face 900 metres above the valley floor. Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown to the site riding on a tigress. He subsequently meditated here for three months. It is one of Bhutan’s most holy sites and draws pilgrims not only from Bhutan but also from neighbouring Buddhist countries. You can have lunch at the Taktshang cafeteria from where you get a spectacular view of the monastery.
In the evening enjoy your time as leisure, or you can spend your time on last-minute shopping or a visit to a local café. Take a final stroll through the town, perhaps visiting a local monastery.

The Bhutan tour comes to an end today. Depending on your flight schedule, our representative will pick you up with a private vehicle and drop you off at Paro International Airport approximately three hours before your scheduled flight back to Kathmandu.
