After having your breakfast you will pick up from the hotel and drive to Patan Durbar Square; visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square, and explore the Patan Museum to delve deeper into the history of this city and the reign of its kings. Then, proceed to the Golden Temple, a significant attraction for both Hindus and Buddhists, as well as the Banglamukhi Temple.
After visiting Patan you will drive to Bhaktapur; is the city that was the capital of the Greater Malla Kingdom until the 15th century. Bhaktapur is a treasure trove of artistic creations displayed in the temples and monuments of the city. Now this square is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and managed by the Archaeological Department of Nepal and Bhaktapur municipality. Bhaktapur is known as the most ancient city. Durbar Square used to be the home place of royal families. There are four different squares; Taumadhi Square, Durbar Square, Pottery Square, and Dattatreya Square. You’ll explore the ancient architecture, intricate woodwork, and vibrant culture of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath temple, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Peacock Window, Golden Gate, fifty-five windowed palace, Taleju bell, Dattatreya temple, Vatsala Temple, Chyasilin Mandap, is the major attraction of Bhaktapur.
After visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square you will drive to Changunarayan Temple; the oldest temple in Nepal it is one of the best-known Vishnu – Narayan temples visited by a large number of devotees especially during Harishayani Ekadashi in July and Haribodhini Ekadashi in November, over the four months when Lord Vishnu is supposed to retire to sleep. The temple has a two-tiered pagoda structure. The temple has a gilded copper roof with a pinnacle. On each of the four doorways are four torans, or exquisitely carved crests suspended over the door. In the temple courtyard are pillars on which are positioned the four divine possessions of Lord Vishnu consisting of the Sankha (conch), Chakra (discus), Gadaa (mace), and Padma (lotus). There are also smaller shrines dedicated to Goddess. At the front of the temple is a beautiful statue of Garuda dating back to the 5th century Lichchhavi period. Now this temple is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and managed by the Archaeological Department of Nepal and Changunarayan municipality, known for its exquisite stone carvings and religious significance. Take your time to admire the intricate craftsmanship and soak in the serene atmosphere.
