Tour Details

Swargadwari is a famous Hindu pilgrimage site located in the Pyuthan district in the western part of Nepal. Swarga means heaven and Dwar means gate. So most Hindu religious people believe this is the door to heaven. Hindu people believe after death most of them want to go to heaven and stay together with gods and goddesses. So before death once in their life, they want to visit this place and be blessed with god or want to reserve the place in heaven.

Swargadwari is very important in the view of culture. There are so many small temples and the butter lamp for a hundred years. Cows are the most attractive on this site. There are more than 500 local cows.

Also, you can hike for around 4-5 hours enjoying the rural life and enticing views of the Jhimruk and Madi Valley, or take a bus. After visiting the Swargadari holy site, you can retrace the same way back to Kathmandu.
