Tour Details

Muktinath word is derived from “Mukti” which means “Salvation/Nirvana” and “Nath” which means “God or Master“. It is the holy site where thousands of devotees flock to attain moksha (Freedom) from the cycle of birth and rebirth. It is also regarded as Muktichhetra (place of salvation), one of the four religious sites. Many Shaligrams (Ammonite) found during Muktinathatra over here are considered by Hindus as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and worship them. The Pagoda-style Muktinath Temple is a symbol of the religious symbiosis between both Hindus and Buddhists plateau.
