Mr Nilhari Bastola was very flexible in helping us create a travel plan that met all our wishes. Early November, we flew with Thai Air via Bangkok to Kathmandu. The administrative procedures for entering the country went very smoothly. We had already arranged our visas in Belgium, that is not strictly nescessary, but it speeds up entry to Nepal. At the airport, we were met by a representative of the tour operator for our transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. In the evening we had an appointment with Mr. Nilhari Bastola to arrange a few practical matters, such as exchanging dollars to rupees, exchanging mobile numbers, and a brief briefing on how the trip would proceed. The following day, the tour started. Together with the driver and the guide, we started our tour in Kathmandu and continued as planed. Almost every day Mr. Nilhari Bastola inquired about our experience regarding the progress of the tour. On a few occasions, in consultation with Mr.Nilhari Bastola, we made changes to the program during the course of the tour. Norris was a great guide. We did an easy walk to the Monastery and stayed the night. I got to attend prayers and meals with the monks which I loved. The monastery and views were beautiful. The next day we walked through rural villages and got to see their way of life. We stayed at a nice lodge with incredible views out to the mountains. I really enjoyed the trip, getting a glimpse into rural life in Nepal and getting to know Norris. We also saw monkeys, a parrot and eagles.Posted onVerified Amazing Tour of Nepal This is the perfect tour for someone coming to Nepal for the first time who wants to experience the culture, visit the historic sites and see the amazing views. Everything was well planned, with plenty of activities and enough free time for shopping and trying new foods. All of the guides were wonderful, especially Devi in Kathmandu. There were long drives between cities but the car was comfortable and Abhi was the very best. He was fun and accommodating, it made the trip fly by. As a solo female traveller I felt safe and welcome in each place I visited. All of the staff and the hotels were friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Nilam checked in frequently to make sure I was enjoying everything and was easy to get ahold of. He also helped plan additional activities and gave recommendations. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back.
